Hi, friends! I’m Mackenzie (or as my friends often call me: Mack). I was born and raised in Mississippi and grew up cherishing Southern tradition. For my bachelor’s and master’s degrees, I went to The University of Alabama (Roll Tide!), and most recently, work brought me to the heart of the music city, Nashville.

Over the past few years, I’ve come to realize I have two problems:

1. I cannot not be busy. I’m constantly looking for new things to try, to be involved in, and to do.
   As you can imagine, this leaves me with very little free time. But, it also means I have a ton of really neat experiences and meet some really interesting people.
2. I have many passions. Thanks to the many things I’ve been able to try, I’ve discovered there are many things I enjoy doing. 
   Of course, this became a problem when I was trying to figure out what I wanted to do with my life (a.k.a. what would my career be?). But now I’ve realized, I shouldn’t have to pick just one.

So, I dedicate this blog to documenting my many adventures and endeavors, and hopefully we can both learn a few things along the way!
